Peter Smith - Director & CEO
Peter has been involved in the finance industry since 1986 when he passed his stockbroking examinations for the London Stock Exchange aged 18. He has previously been an option trader, gilts trader, private client stockbroker before he built a global financial services company between 1993 and 2006 resulting in $2.2bn under management and 300 + staff. As the founder of Global Equity International he recognised a gap in the market for assisting small to medium sized companies achieve their goals and ambitions by bringing together a network of professionals to help the clients of the company on a cost effective, majority sweat equity model.
Enzo Taddei - Director & CFO
Enzo holds a degree in Economics from EADE University in Malaga (Spain) and also a Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Wales. He also holds a “Masters Degree” in Spanish and International Taxation granted to him by EADE University in Malaga (Spain) in 2000. Fluent in three languages and a specialist in a broad range of accounting and also taxation procedures and disciplines, he leads the finance team of Global Equity International and assists most clients on financial matters. Enzo also has extensive experience of public companies in a number of jurisdictions and is an expert on structure and planning for the maximum effect.
Patrick Dolan - Managing Director (UK)
Patrick Dolan was senior figure in the software and technology market in a 20 year plus career he has held numerous senior management positions within large and small startup enterprises in the US, Asia Pacific and in Europe. Patrick has had extensive experience in managing large global operations with enterprises such as Standard & Poors, Dow Jones, Citibank, State Street and more recently Merchant Capital. In the last 12 years he has worked within the technology and software sector in small to medium sized companies expanding them operationally and exiting through either the public markets or through trade sales. Patrick brings a lot of experience from both an operational and capital raising perspective and has significant contacts across the financial markets.
Zara Clark - Office Manager and Client Liaison (Dubai)
Zara Clark is the Regional Office Manager for the Dubai office and also the Client Relationship Manager for all clients located within the United Arab Emirates. Zara has vast experience in dealing with young startup companies. she understands the challenges faced when building a business and the support required to execute on any particular transaction. A key highlight of Zara’s growing career was her instrumental involvement in establishing large trade finance facilities with various banks in excess of 55 million USD for a then small tobacco enterprise. She has that certain gravitas needed to establish and maintain key relationships with clients. Zara is well connected with several high net worth individuals here in the MENA region and networks well to build these relationships.
Shoaib Rasool - Senior Analyst and In-House Accountant (Dubai)
Shoaib previously worked in Crowe Horwath Hussain Chaudhury & Co. Chartered Accountants as an Audit associate and an Audit supervisor. Shoaib has more than 5 years of professional experience in the field of accountancy, audit and controls, his key skills include preparation & finalization of Financial Statements and he have in-depth knowledge of Audit & Assurance (External & Internal Audits, Specialized & Forensic Assignments) of different industry sectors. At Crowe Horwath, Shoaib was responsible for planning Audit assignments, preparing overall audit plan, allocation of work, setting timelines and supervision of audit teams. He is highly qualified CA (Finalist) Pakistan, CPA (UK) and CICA (USA) and currently is senior analyst and in house accountant for the company
